Verfasst: Di, 12 Jan 2010 15:43
Hallo,
falls jemand daran interessiert ist:
am Sonntag organisiert jemand einen OL in Luxembourg auf der Karte der belgischen Meisterschaft vor vielen, vielen Jahren.
Man soll sich bis Mittwoch anmelden.
C-O-Lux
* When: Sunday 17th Jan 2010
* Where: http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=49.66 ... s=B000FTFT
* How to get there:
o By car: get to Walferdange, then uphill on CR 125
o Car-pooling: this mailing list
o There is train station in Walferdange and a direct bus from Hamilius to Helmsange/Barriär. From both it is approx. 20 minutes walk up the Rue Prince Henri and the road CR 125 to the event centre.
* There are some 20 places to park our cars that we share with the Sunday randoneurs. One more parking like that is approx. 300 m down the road.
* First start (00:00): 10h00
* Distances: course centre - start - finish: 0 m
* Entries: by email
* Entry fees: zero euro
* Punching: on the map
* Map: mapped during the spring 1983 but very fresh. One would say that the forest undergone one full vegetation cycle Anyway: the most accurate 30 years old map in the world. IOF symbols.
* The maps are kindly printed on a waterproof paper Preac by AirXtrem (http://www.airxtrem.com/), our nearby O'e-shop.
* Terrain: continental, clean and mostly "white", a plateau cut by few valleys, few zones with micro-relief.
* Categories: H21, D21, DH14 or L, M, S if you wish.
* Course lengths:
o H21: 8.8 km / 270 m
o D21: 6.4 km / 195 m
o DH14: 2.7 km / 110 m
* Time limit: 150 minutes
* Snow: As of today, there is 5 cm of snow. It is likely to melt or sublimate. Nonetheless, O'shoes would be the "course-setters' choice".
* Control descriptions: IOF. Read more here:
* There are no codes on the control flags. If yes, ignore it. The same for the control descriptions
* You will cross the road CR 125 twice. There is some traffic so pay attention.
* Dogs allowed: on your own responsibility (as the whole event...)
and:
* There is no risk of cancellation: more snow, more fun!
